Selector Overview

Implements Interfaces: IDebuggable

The Selector can be used with any object that implements the ISelectable to select aspects of the object or its children.

• debug()

Instructs the object to present useful debugging information via a series of calls to Debug.point, Debug.line and Debug.triangles.

Ray3D ray | Optional

When selecting based on a ray, this defines the ray in local object space. In the future, as other techniques are added like Window Selection, there may be another member such as frustum which can be used to define an area.

Array [ Selection ] selections

A list of selections that satisfy the selector's properties. This list is populated when an object implementing is invoked.

Array [ Selection ] selectionsByDistance()

Returns the selections member sorted by distance, based upon the Selection.distance field such that the nearest item is returned first, and the furthest item last.
